One package instead of six

Today a XenForo forum needs four to six separate add-ons from different authors for this. ComplyGuard combines data export, deletion, notices, statements of reasons and legal texts.

DSA first

Point of contact (Art. 11, 12), notice and action (Art. 16) and statements of reasons (Art. 17) apply to every forum in the EU. The free Lite edition already covers these basic duties.

Records, not just switches

Every notice, decision, statement of reasons, request and deletion is logged with deadline and timestamp, without storing content in plain text.

Lite and Pro

Planned features. Pro pricing will be announced with the release.

Principles

  • Never hand out third-party data: other participants in exports are pseudonymised.
  • Never delete without a dry run. Staff and admins are always excluded from automatic deletion.
  • Never block the forum: job errors are logged, the forum keeps running.

Requirements

  • XenForo 2.3
  • PHP 8.1 or newer

Status

Point of contact and notice and action are in development right now. Statements of reasons and self-deletion come next, then the Pro modules. For Invision Community 5 the modules it lacks will follow later.
