In short
This website sets no cookies, uses no tracking or analytics and loads no content from third-party servers (no external fonts, scripts or embeds). Search runs entirely in your browser. I only process personal data as far as necessary to deliver the pages or when you contact me yourself.

Hosting and accessing the website
The website is hosted on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The server is located in Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner.
When you open a page, your browser technically transmits data to the server, in particular your IP address, date and time, the requested address, browser and operating system. This data is only used to deliver the page and is not stored in access logs. The connection is encrypted via TLS.
The legal basis is my legitimate interest in delivering the website securely and reliably (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Cookies, local storage and tracking
No cookies are set and no data is stored in your browser (§ 25 TDDDG). There is no tracking, no audience measurement, no advertising and no profiling. The search function loads a search index from this server and searches it in your browser. Search terms are not sent to a server.
Contact by email or phone
If you email or call me, I process your details (e.g. name, email address, phone number, content of your message) to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where it concerns a contract or a related enquiry, otherwise my legitimate interest in answering (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The mailbox is also operated by Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany under the data processing agreement. I delete messages once your request has been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations (e.g. for business correspondence and invoices) require longer storage.
Links to other websites
This website links to other services, e.g. when sharing a post on WhatsApp. Only when you follow a link does the privacy policy of that provider apply. No data is transmitted to them beforehand.
Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object (Art. 21). Just send me an email.
Right to object: Where I process data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation.
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for me is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Niedersachsen, Prinzenstraße 5, 30159 Hannover, Germany.
